Supanova photos: part five.
Supanova (Brisbane editon) was exhausting. I’m too tired to post my own pics at the moment but here’s some very cool ones that someone else took. The guy in the Captain America suit did an awesome Rick Grimes on Saturday while the Tony Stark-Iron Man was not only a delightful person, on Saturday he came as just Tony Stark (t-shirt with glowing arc reactor through it) with what I assume is his daughter. Had a great chat to him - he’s part of a charity group that dress up for hospital visits etc. Heartwarming stuff.

Steve and Peggy were just adorable in the movie, ok? And perfect, and stunningly sad, and I had lots of feelings. So I had to paint something. Hope you like it :)
#god sometimes i think about peggy and just get really really sad #i wonder if she sat at home that night and played dance music to herself while looking at that picture of steve from the paper #the only one she had of him #and had a moment of private grief #to cry for the man she only ever got to kiss once #i wonder if they had a funeral for him with an empty coffin #and she stood at the service and was as strong as any of the military men #she must have found someone else and settled down eventually; she had a daughter #but i wonder if steve was always in the back of her mind #i wonder if she found it hard to listen to dance hall music for the rest of her life #remembering the man who she never got to have that date with #the right partner but they never got to dance
