   IF Marvel and DC still did crossovers (which seems unlikely given current corporate culture), who would you MOST want to see in a book, and what creative team would you choose?

   Stephanie Brown (heck it’s not as if DC appears to be using her) and Kitty Pryde - they’ve both been through so much but represent an interesting perspective in mad worlds. Two strong women. And I’d like to see either Gail Simone or Neil Gaiman writing with (depending on the tone of the writing of course) Dean Trippe, Stewart McKenny or Peter Gross.

   Oooh OR maybe Mike Carey and JH Williams III doing a Nightcrawler-Constantine.

   Or a Booster and Spiderman crossover would be entertaining especially if done by Keith Giffen and J. M. DeMatteis, with art by Kevin Maguire.

    I have been enjoying Justice League: Generation Lost for various reasons, but my favourite bit in the last issue (new issue- #8- comes out tomorrow, remember) was this: Booster’s rise as a serious superhero manifests itself in ways that shock his old teammates.

    I for one have loved seeing him written over the last few years as a competent hero who’s finally starting to make the most of the power and ability he always had but didn’t always show. And when I first saw this team, I thought- Ice isn’t going to be taken seriously as a leader, Fire’s grown with Checkmate but she is more than prone to rushing into things and making mistakes, this Rocket Red’s an unknown factor, and Jaime’s still a kid. Captain Atom’s a realistic possibility, but after all this time it makes more sense to have him as a powerful ‘big gun’ type, especially given his tendency to follow orders military-style and all the crap he’s gone through. And then there’s Booster. Dear, old, hilarious Booster. He’s grown so much since Ted’s death. When I first saw the lineup, I prayed desperately that they’d remember just how good he is now and put him as the one leading the charge. Judd Winick and DC Editorial, I thank you for this moment.

    Ditto. Recognition of Booster’s growth - however subtle - is both overdue and welcome.
